Bravo’s Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard featured 11 black businessmen, including Preston Mitchum, which made the summer of 2023 even hotter with plenty of relationship drama, friendly fights, and love triangles that kept viewers coming back for more.

Preston Mitchum is a Black queer lawyer, advocate, and activist. He founded PDM Consulting, a consulting firm focused on youth, LGBTQ+, and Black empowerment, in March 2023, immediately after leaving Georgetown University Law Center as an adjunct professor of law.
Prior to founding PDM, Preston was Director of Advocacy and Government Affairs at the Trevor Project for nearly 2 years. In addition, he was director of public policy at URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity for exactly 2 years.
In addition, she worked as a senior legal and international policy analyst at Advocates for Youth from August 2017 to September 2019 and at the Center for Health and Gender Equality from August 2015 to August 2017.
From June 2014 to August 2015, Preston also worked for the Honorable S. Pamela Gray and the Honorable Errol R. Arthur in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to that, she was a political analyst, LGBT policy, and racial justice at the Center for American Progress for a year.
