Man fired from Microsoft after 22 years becomes a goose farmer? LinkedIn profile is viral

User X’s post about a man turning into a goose farmer after 22 years at Microsoft has gone viral. According to his LinkedIn profile, he chose this new profession after being fired from a tech company.

“Quit Microsoft after 22 years just to become a goose farmer,” Xa user Smarika Malviya wrote while sharing a screenshot of the LinkedIn profile of a man named Feng Yuan.

According to Yuan’s LinkedIn profile, he is from Washington, United States. The first experience listed on his profile is as a professor at Nanjing University in China, where he worked for almost four years. Another experience shows his profession as “Senior Software Engineer” at Hewlett-Packard for almost eight years.

According to his profile, he then joined Microsoft, where he worked for 22 years and four months. His current occupation is listed as “goose breeder”, which he has been doing for the past 11 months.

In a LinkedIn post about 10 months ago, Yuan said he was fired from his position at the tech company. “Just got fired by Microsoft today due to so called poor performance #microsoft. I am very proud of my work at Microsoft, so I have no problem sharing information with the world. Thank you for your faith and support in me. To those on the opposite side, a bigger thank you from my wife now I can spend more time with her. And our geese and chickens would be happier,” he wrote.

Since it was shared a day ago, the tweet has garnered nearly two lakh views – and the numbers are only going up. The share additionally collected close to 1,500 likes. People posted different comments while reacting to the post.
