Ex-Meta intern’s job offer at Elon Musk’s Tesla gets revoked 72 hours before joining: ‘Frustrated and heartbroken’

A former Mete intern took to LinkedIn to claim that her offer at Tesla was withdrawn just 72 hours before she was due to join Elon Musk’s company. She said that she got this offer after “painful three months of applying and interviewing for new positions”, after her previous employer fired her. She claimed she even turned down another offer to join Tesla.

“This afternoon my offer at Tesla was pulled 72 hours before I was due to start due to a company reorganization,” she wrote. “Frustrated and heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel, and I know I share the same feeling with anyone else who has had the unfortunate experience of being fired and/or having their offer rescinded, especially from Tesla in the last two weeks,” she added.
