Ecuadorian beauty queen Landy Párraga Goyburo was fatally shot in broad daylight in a restaurant shooting. According to reports, her Instagram post led her killers to where she was having dinner. The police are currently investigating the murder of the 23-year-old woman because it is speculated that the murder was ordered by a drug lord’s shop window with whom Goyburo was allegedly in a relationship.

According to the New York Post, Goyburo spoke to the man at the restaurant. At one point, she noticed masked attackers sneaking in. Soon after, the gunman shot Goyburo and the man she was talking to. After that, the attacker and the accomplice fled the scene.

Goyburo represented the province of Los Rios in the Miss Ecuador 2022 pageant, the newspaper reported. She, with more than a million followers on her social media pages, has her own line of sportswear.
She was in the news last December after her name came up in a conversation between dead drug trafficker Leandro Norer and his accountant Helive Angulo.
According to the newspaper, the State Attorney’s Office was investigating her finances. She was never prosecuted for a crime. She has never publicly commented on Norera.
