After the success of her mozzarella party with the girls, Danielle secretly hosts a family reunion for the next episode. This time, Danielle throws a party for her daughter Valentina’s 7-year-old artwork. However, the absence of Tommy, her estranged brother, leaves the family noticeably without him.
Danielle flashes back to her youth with her brother when she sees Valentina and her son Dominic hug each other. She then worries that, like her and Tom, the brothers will drift apart. She had never before done anything for Valentina without Tom’s presence. This caused the family to reflect on her interactions with him. Her mother said she “tried” to bond, “but it’s very sad.”
In the season 13 episode, children will be childrenat Danielle’s daughter’s party, Danielle’s parents get emotional when they mention it yours children, which of course includes Danielle and Thomas. However, Danielle reveals that she and Thomas haven’t spoken in years at this point.

Dolores explained to Danielle that Margaret was upset because she repeated Teresa’s admonition to keep Margaret a “friend” and not an enemy. Things escalated further when Jackie and Margaret told the group that they didn’t believe Danielle was telling the truth about the fight between her and her brother. They claimed there was “no way” they hadn’t talked about “Instagram videos” in years.
Danielle was concerned because she kept hearing women calling her name, even though she couldn’t hear everything they were saying about her. She immediately left the meeting with her husband, Teresa, and Jennifer Aydin after Melissa informed her that the group thought there was “more” to the story.
After getting in the van to go home, Danielle admitted that she felt like a “slut” for talking about her and Thomas’s problems with their new friends. The “friend” then declared war on her, accusing her of lying about her brother, and warned Jennifer and Teresa not to be nicer to Jackie.
Family life suffered greatly due to Tom’s separation from the rest of the family. “It’s the worst that could happen,” Danielle concluded.
