The whistleblower claimed at a small gathering that the gas was nitrous oxide.

The Class C drug, also known as laughing gas, was reclassified in November and serious users now face two years in prison and dealers up to 14 years.

Davide has been enjoying partying in Dubai and the UK since splitting from Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu earlier this year.

He was out with friends this Easter weekend and was filmed turning up to fill up balloons in the early hours of Saturday morning after the Solaris of the Sun event at the Firefly Club.

Davide can be seen using a blue pump to inflate the balloon, but there is no indication that he sucked up the gas himself.

Davide’s spokesman declined to comment.

It comes after he was seen snorting white powder on an Ibiza bender last summer – the first time the couple from the TV dating series have parted ways.

At the time, Davide’s rep insisted that he was sniffing snuff.

Ekin and Davide later reunited but broke up for good in January.

In March, the Turkish beauty, 29, then entered the Celebrity Big Brother house – and Davide reacted in a late-night video shared by The Sun.

Cheering for the shot, he blurted out, “Fuck you Ekin-Su.”

A source close to Davide said in response: “Davide has understandably been going through a rough patch lately and hasn’t been feeling normal.

“He did his best to look brave and get back to the fun Davide everyone knows and loves by getting out and socializing more and focusing on his fitness to help his mental health.”
