Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: all version differences

Ever since the first generation, the Pokémon franchise has launched with two versions for each major release. We started with Red and blue, but they have now reached the ninth generation with Pokémon Scarlet and violet. This is the biggest leap the series has made, compared to recent ones Pokémon Legends: Arceus and gives us a completely open world to explore in our Pokémon adventure. Of course, there will be new creatures to find, capture, train and evolve, as well as a new story.

However, the nature of releasing two versions is not just a marketing gimmick. Pokémon Scarlet andviolet, just like all other title pairings, they have some key differences in content that are intended to encourage players to cooperate with friends who have the opposite version. However, knowing what each version has ahead of time can influence your decision on which one to get because many things, including Pokémon, it can only be found in one version or another. Before you embark on this new adventure to catch them all, check out all the differences between them Pokémon Scarlet and violet.

Of course, you can always trade in to get these exclusive Pokémon. However, you won’t be able to find them in your game if you’re playing solo or offline. You also can’t get Legendary alternate versions, which might be the most important difference. Here are all the Pokémon exclusive to each version:

In the first version of the series, each version will also feature a different professor to guide you on your adventure. If you play Pokemon Violetyou will be under the mentorship of professor Tur, while the trainers in Pokémon Scarlet will learn from professor Sad.

This difference also applies to the main Academy you will attend in the game. Each version has a different name, emblem and uniform. IN Pokemon Violetyou will be enrolled in the Uva Academy, doc Crimson players will go to Naranja Academy. Another small change is that the Headmaster of the Academy, Calvell, will wear either a purple or orange coat to match the version.
