Mamadou’s childhood and family
Mamadou Ndiaye was born on September 14, 1993 in Dakar, Senegal to parents M’bad and Seynabou Ndiaye. His parents also gave birth to his older brother, Adam. Mamadou’s passion for sports was evident from his childhood in Senegal, although he preferred soccer to hoops. However, after a growth spurt in adolescence, he became quite tall and started playing basketball more often.
