Pachinko, Lee Min-show, ho’s received two nominations for the 2022 Gotham Independent Film Awards. The 32nd Annual Gotham Awards were announced on October 25, and Pachinko received nominations for “Series of Movies.” breakthrough – Full-length film (over 40 minutes)” and “Excellent Performance in a New Series”, both of which belong to the lead actress Kim Min-ha.
The popular Apple TV+ series is adapted from the New York Times best-selling book of the same name by Korean-American novelist Min Jin Lee. The story follows four generations of a Korean family living in Japan, dealing with themes of war, love, family relations, friendship, separation, acceptance, and peace, with a cast.
