Tony explained: “It’s really hard to explain, I just went downhill from there.” According to Tony, she left him when he was arrested. He said: “I was thinking when I was in prison how could he do this to me. I mean, I would have died for her, I would have stayed there, you would have put a bullet through her brain, you would have hit me from my toes to my nose, I would never say (indistinct).”
Tony said, “The best day of my life was the day I fell in love with that girl.”
So Tony and his wife divorced. He said: “And that is why my children and I are not that close. I wish I could have changed it somewhere along the way.”
However, in 2022, he and his children seemed to have reconciled their relationship. After his death, his daughter posted a video of the two dancing in what is believed to be Joanne’s living room.
