How to delete pictures on a Chromebook

If you’re trying to delete pictures on a Chromebook, there’s only one way to do it. You will not be able to delete them via Images map. Similarly, files from Recently or Video folders cannot be deleted. Instead, locate them along the way My documents and delete them there.

Step 1: Open My documents.

Step 2: Now open the location where the images were originally uploaded. If it is inside Downloads folder, open it and proceed to delete the image(s).

How to delete downloads on a Chromebook

Since Chromebook systems don’t usually come with a large amount of local storage, the files inside download files are subject to automatic deletion if the system runs out of space it needs to operate.

As such, you may want to delete or back up certain files and folders in the Downloads before that happens or you simply won’t have any use for those files anymore.

Step 1: Choose My documents map.

Step 2: Choose Downloads.

Step 3: Select the files and folders you want to remove from the system by right-clicking on them and then select Delete option.
