Speaking about what he would do with the money before winning, the British Army engineer said before entering a Scottish castle: “My happiness comes from making everyone around me happy.

“So I would like to use some of the money to treat my family and girlfriend.

“The other thing is that I would like to replace my car.

“On top of that, I’d also like to use it to start a new chapter in my life.”

But snaps on Harry’s Instagram page show him high in the sky, flying a private jet.

The photos were circulated on X, formerly known as Twitter, with one viewer reacting: “Harry doesn’t need the money, his girlfriend is a singer and on TV and her brother is Conor Maynard – a miracle but if you look at Harry’s insta the other day he was in a private plane.”

Another predicted the final result on Friday and joked: “Harry goes for Andrew in the final round table. Then Harry and the 3 remaining faithful vote to end the game. Harry takes the money with a big smile on his face and then hops on a private jet.”

Another shared photos of Harry and said: “Harry wants to do this for his family? That looks like a private jet lmao (laughing my head off)”

However, despite this, Harry returned to his normal work after winning the show.

Sitting in the castle in the first episode, Harry told viewers: “I’m a typical guy, I like football, boxing, I’m in the army. The best advice I got in the army is ‘if you can’t be well, be careful’.”

“So if you don’t get caught, you can never get in trouble.

“I think I just have that face that sounds so sassy, but you just want to either kiss it or punch it.”

In his application for the show, Harry revealed that he was not afraid and hoped that would be one of his strengths in the mission.

The legendary player explained: “I’ve never had any fear; I’d jump out of a plane, skydive and jump off cliffs. I’ve done it all at work so I’m sure I’ll be fine in Scotland.

“I’m also used to working in teams and every day I’m in groups, be they big or small, trying to solve tasks, bouncing off each other.

“I think I’m going to be really good at working out people’s strengths and putting them in positions where they’ll work best.”
