A MAN allegedly broke into a house and stabbed a father while his four-year-old daughter slept before killing the teenager in a sword rampage, a court heard.
Daniel Anjorin, 14, was killed during the terror attack in Hainault, east London, as he walked to school on Tuesday.

Four more were injured, including a policewoman who almost lost her arm.
Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today charged with murder.
The 36-year-old was also charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and possession of a sharp object.
Monzo, who held his left hand to his chest during the brief hearing, spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
The court heard that the dual Spanish-Brazilian national allegedly crashed a van and then punched a man who threatened to kill him.
He then forced his way into a random home where the family and their four-year-old daughter were sleeping, it was said.
Monzo was accused of attacking his father in the arm and neck with a samurai sword while shouting about God before leaving the house.
He then allegedly ran up behind Daniel and stabbed him in the neck before slashing his stomach as the schoolboy lay on the ground, the court heard.
When police arrived, Monzo allegedly jumped out of a bush and attacked a female officer before allegedly injuring another officer.
Monzo was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday.
The alleged killer describes himself on social media as a “mystic and musician”.
He also previously shared footage of himself sparring at a boxing gym in London.
No family should have to go through what we are experiencing today. Any family will understand that this is an absolute tragedy.
Daniel’s family is heartbroken
A neighbor in Beckton, east London, today described Monzo as a “ghost” who lived alone and had no friends.
His court appearance came after the sister of the father injured in the attack described him as a “hero” for protecting his family.
Henry De Los Rios Polanio, 35, was allegedly injured by Monzo when he barged into his bedroom while the family slept.
Jessica De Los Rios, 31, said: “To us, he’s our hero. He protected them – my niece and my sister-in-law.
“They were literally sleeping, they opened their eyes and saw a man with a big machete.
“He felt helpless at the moment, but for us he is our hero. It could have been worse.”
Jessica revealed her brother was “traumatised” by the horror and is now being treated in hospital after suffering a deep gash to his hand.
She said he lost “a lot of blood” while the rest of the family couldn’t sleep.
The horror unfolded just before 7am on Tuesday when a van plowed into a house in Laing Close.
The suspect was reportedly seen roaming the streets armed with a huge sword.
Neighbors said they shouted at Daniel as the attacker approached, but because he was wearing headphones he didn’t hear them.
When he turned around, he slashed him across the face with a sword and “didn’t stand a chance,” according to one witness.
Approximately 22 minutes later, the suspect was Tasered and arrested before being placed under police guard at the hospital.
Police confirmed that two officers suffered serious injuries – including a policewoman who almost lost her arm – while two citizens were also treated in hospital.
The Met ruled out terrorism and said it did not believe the attack was targeted.
Tributes poured in for Daniel, who was the youngest of three children from a local church-going Nigerian family.
His mother Grace Anjorin (49) is a science professor, while his father Dr Ebenezer Anjorin (59) works as a health and safety consultant.
Daniel’s heartbroken family paid tribute to the “wonderful child” on Wednesday, saying his loss “leaves a gaping wound in the family”.
They told Sky News: “No family should have to go through what we are going through today. Every family will understand that this is an absolute tragedy.”
He was a true scholar, showing commendable dedication to his academic pursuits. His positive nature and gentle character will leave a lasting impression on us.
Bancroft School
A friend of the schoolboy described him as a “very good person” who excelled at maths, loved football and supported Arsenal.
Cyan Thompson, 19, told the Independent: “I’m a lot older but Daniel was better than me at maths. I was planning to play football with him later today but it’s not going to happen.
“He was like the main Messi, he could pass me very easily. He was small but very nervous. He was a very determined guy. I support Man City, he supports Arsenal, it was a good rivalry.”
A football-mad Arsenal fan, Daniel attended Bancroft School in nearby Woodford Green from the age of seven.
Tragically, the £24,990-a-year private school is the same institution attended by Nottingham rampage victim Grace O’Malley-Kumar.
The flag at the school was lowered to half-mast yesterday.
The school said: “He was a true scholar, demonstrating commendable dedication to his academic endeavours. His positive nature and gentle character will leave a lasting impact on us.”
A GoFundMe page started on behalf of Daniel’s older brother has raised more than £29,000.
