Good Morning Britain fans flood Ofcom with complaints after branding Susanna Reid a ‘disgrace’

GOOD MORNING. British fans have bombarded Ofcom with complaints after Susanna Reid was branded a ‘disgrace’.

It came after presenters interviewed MP George Galloway following his success in the Rochdale by-election.

After George won the most votes, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak took to the steps of Downing Street to express his displeasure.

Of George, Rishi said: “He rejects the horror of what happened on October 7, glorified by Hezbollah and supported by Nick Griffin.”

Susanna and Richard asked George about his stance on Rishi’s claims.

George said: “I’m not discounting the horror of what happened on October 7, it’s completely unfounded. I’m not glorifying Hezbollah and I wasn’t endorsed by Nick Griffin.”

He said Susanna and Richard did no research before bringing him on the show.

Fans were outraged, claiming that Susanna interrupted George and asked the same questions that he felt were too baseless to answer. They also didn’t like the way she talked to him.

During the interview, George said he was treated like he was on trial because of the interrogation. He pointed out that he was elected and not on trial.

Good Morning Britain viewers claimed that Susanna and Richard behaved unprofessionally and did not give their guest a chance to speak.

One user commented: “These two people aren’t interviewing George Galloway: they’re egging him on. Susanna is particularly awful. Why don’t you let your guest speak?”

Another added: “Susanna is a disgrace.”

While a third wrote: “When George Galloway said the NHS was in crisis the camera caught Susanna Reid smiling. ABSOLUTELY SCARY..”

“This is shocking and outrageous… their hatred and utter contempt for Galloway is glaringly obvious and they are supposed to be unbiased presenters? They should be fired for such unprofessionalism and sheer bile…” wrote a fourth.

And a fifth added: “I have to say the way Richard and Susanna conducted that interview was embarrassing. Really unprofessional.

Susanna recently risked a fight with Kim Kardashian after eyeing her Met Gala outfit.

The 53-year-old presenter told Good Morning Britain viewers that Kim looked “uncomfortable” and her outfit “didn’t work” shortly after the show started at 6am today.

Of the footage helping the mum on the green carpet in New York, ITV Studios’ Susanna said: “These aren’t great pictures though, are they?

“When you have to have someone lift your dress up a few flights of stairs, I’m not sure the dress works.”
