A terrifying video of a Boeing 767 landing without a front landing gear has taken over social media. The incident, captured in a now-viral video, occurred when the cargo plane’s landing gear failed to open during a flight from Paris to Istanbul. According to the Turkish Ministry of Transport, the plane managed to stay on the runway and avoid casualties.

The Independent shared the video on its Instagram page. The newspaper writes that the Boeing 767, which belonged to the FedEx Express plane, had technical difficulties, after which the pilot contacted airport officials and landed the plane on its fuselage. After the incident, the runway was temporarily closed.

Since it was shared, the video has garnered tons of comments from people.
“Boeing now only produces unsafe and disposable planes. Sad to see how low this company has sunk,” the Instagram user wrote. While another person added: “This is terrifying.”
Boeing is currently facing “intense media and regulatory scrutiny” after other aircraft models produced by the company were involved in “a series of incidents”.
The aircraft under scrutiny is the Boeing 767 freighter, which is approaching its tenth year of service. This model is widely used for cargo transportation. FedEx said it is coordinating with authorities investigating the case.
