How to fix connection problems with your AirPods

To solve this problem, we will look at all possible solutions, from the easiest to the most difficult, to pair your AirPods.

Step 1: Get Closer: This sounds simple, but the first thing you should try is approach to your device. The acceptable range between AirPods and your supported device is about 30 feet. However, a lot depends on your environment. Electrical interference, walls, and other obstacles can cause connection problems that can only be resolved by placing AirPods closer to your iPhone, iPad, or other device.

Step 2: Check the battery of your AirPods: A low battery can also be a factor. Make sure your AirPods and device are charged. Otherwise, the connection will not work.

This should launch a pop-up window showing the battery level of the AirPods and the charging case. You can also use the battery widget.

If you don’t see them there, go to Bluetooth, find your AirPods and select the blue “i” icon next to them. Once there, take your pick Forget this device.

Tap the name of your AirPods in your iPhone's settings menu.
