When its owner died, his family didn’t need the 17-year-old cat, so they simply dropped it off at a local shelter.
There, the prospect for an abandoned old cat doesn’t look great, very few people want to adopt an old cat.
Luckily for Kiki, someone heard her story and thought he might know the right place for her.
A place where he can live the rest of his days in peace and comfort. Being with a family is simply giving her the love and care she deserves.

Here’s what Kiki’s new family has to say. “At 17, Kiki was thrown into a shelter. We rescued her and now she tells us every day how happy she is,” Kitty Adventure Rescue League wrote. “She really loves her new family at KARL (Kitty Adventure Rescue League).”
“We can’t let her stay there,” KARL wrote. “We run a sanctuary for geriatric and special needs cats. You’d be surprised how many people would rather throw an elderly cat in a shelter or on the street.”
