Preston was born in Dallas, Texas, although he currently resides in Arlington, Texas. He created a reputation in the culinary profession even though he was only 19 years old. He made $100,000 participating in the World Culinary Championships as a sous chef with his parents. In addition, he was also crowned the youngest champion in history.
