ICC Cricket Tournaments
The ICC organizes four major cricket tournaments: the World Test Championship, the World Cup, the T20 World Cup and the Champions Trophy. They are considered the biggest and most important cricket tournaments in the world and countries make significant efforts to triumph.

#1 Australia: 9 titles
Australia has been the most dominant team when it comes to cricket’s biggest stage. The team is known for its resilience and ability to perform at the highest level even under pressure. It is no surprise that Australia won the World Cup five times, three times in a row from 1999 to 2007. This was considered the golden era of cricket for Australia and saw the rise of many future Hall of Famers such as Andrew Symonds, Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchrist.

There is no country in the world where cricket is more popular than India. Although not the national sport, cricket is a favorite game in India and is enjoyed by everyone in the country of 1.4 billion people. India won their first ICC tournament in 1983 (World Cup) and have since won the Champions Trophy twice, the T20 World Cup and the ODI World Cup in 2011. However, India have not won an ICC tournament final since 2013 and are hoping to end the drought at the 2023 World Cup.

The West Indies are another group of countries that love cricket like Argentina loves football. West Indies won the World Cup back-to-back in 1975 and 1979. They also won the T20 World Cup in 2012 and 2016.
