How to get to Grate Guy’s Casino
Grate Guy Casino takes two steps.
Get a Bright card
The first step to Grate Guy’s Casino is to get a Bright Card because without it you won’t be able to enter. To find this item, go to Booster’s Tower. As you ascend the tower, you’ll eventually encounter a juggling character named Knife Guy, who will challenge you to a game that requires you to choose which hand he’s holding a yellow ball in after he finishes juggling. You’ll need to win twelve times in a row before he eventually rewards you with a Bright Card. It’s fairly easy to tell which hand the yellow ball landed in simply by looking at the direction it was moving when the juggling stopped, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
Find the secret entrance
With the Bright card in hand, your goal is now to find Grate Guy’s Casino. To do this, you’ll need to head to Bean Valley and walk to the center of this area to find a collection of pipes that you can climb down to reach various underground sections. Go down the northernmost pipe and engage the Chain Chomp here in battle. After that, you’ll need to triple jump into the corner where the Chain Chomp was before you defeated it, which will reveal an incredibly well-hidden block that you can jump on and that will allow you to reach the top of the wall. Head through the exit here.

When you come out the other side, enter the house and approach the two gatekeepers. They won’t let you pass without a Bright card, but since you’ve already found it, you’ll be free to enter the casino. Inside, you’ll find three games to play: Slots, Blackjack, and a guessing game that requires you to look in the opposite direction to the direction the person is pointing. Compete in any of these as many times as you like and have fun!
